As always, AUGI will be a formidable presence at Autodesk University this year. The AUGI booth, located in the Autodesk Community Pavilion in the AU Exhibit Hall, will be the site of plenty of action once AU begins. Here's a peek at just a few of the events that will take place.

The Community Leadership Conference. Held on Monday, December 1, the third annual Community Leadership Conference focuses on the creation, building, and maintenance of volunteer communities. Opening remarks will be followed by a general session focused on topics that are vital to community groups, including: how to launch and grow a successful group, strategic planning, and leadership skills.

Following the general session, attendees will participate in the popular roundtable discussions where leaders get to share with other leaders on a variety of hot topics. In this session, ideas and best practices will be shared and innovative techniques will emerge. A reception and refreshments will follow.

AUGI Top DAUG Challenge. Are you the best AutoCAD user at AU? Prove it by participating in the seventh annual Top DAUG contest. Open to all AU attendees, the Top DAUG contest is divided into two rounds. The first round tests both your knowledge of AutoCAD and your AutoCAD skill. The 10 contestants with the highest scores from the first round will then face off in the “Top DAUG Finals” on Thursday, December 4 at high Noon in the Autodesk Community Pavilion. The Top DAUG Finals pits the best of the best in a fast-paced, high-energy showdown. You won’t want to miss it!

The winner receives valuable prizes from sponsors, as well as Autodesk software. Stop by the AUGI booth at Autodesk University to learn more about Top DAUG and to try your hand. Maybe you will be the next Top DAUG! The AUGI Top DAUG Challenge is sponsored by HP, 4D Technologies, and CADSmart.

AUGI Annual Meeting. Once a year, AUGI holds its annual meeting with the Board of Directors and the general membership. At this important meeting, the year is reviewed, financial reports are presented, and a new vision for the coming year is articulated. All are invited, and encouraged, to attend this open meeting, which takes place on Wednesday, December 3 at 5:00 pm. (Hall A, Level 2).

The AUGI Beer Bust. This AU tradition kicks off at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3 in the AU Exhibit Hall following the AUGI Annual Meeting. More than just a thirst-quenching opportunity, the AUGI Beer Bust allows you to mingle (and network) with thousands of your AUGI peers. You don't want to miss this event!
