Volunteer Spotlight
This month's Volunteer Spotlight is shining on George Sanchez, MSD Moderator and ATP instructor extrodinaire. You can find George all over the AUGI website helping out his fellow AUGIers and teaching AutoCAD Electrical courses for the ATP program this fall. Come meet George I live in San Diego, California where I work for U.S. CAD as an Technical Specialist for their Mechanical Solutions Team. I spends my free time volunteering for AUGI and working in the ATP channel. I started working with CAD design software back on my college years here in San Diego. I had taken Board drafting in High School and was very exited about this computer technology. My first Job in the field was with General Dynamics on CADDS 4X, and I took AutoCAD as continuing education on the evenings. I learned about AUGI 4 years ago when I started working on the reseller channel with U.S. CAD, I became a member, then about 2 years ago I was asked to volunteer as a MSD moderator and this year I decided to step it up and do some ATP classes on AutoCAD Electrical. Outside of U.S. CAD and AUGI I spend time with my wife and two boys, 13 and 9. We love mountain biking, music and movies. And of course cars, I own a beautiful 2001 black convertible Mustang and a 1976 Dodge Ramcharger. It is sometimes a sacrifice to devote yourself to career, family and AUGI, but because of what AUGI means to me (sharing and helping others) I am happy to contribute. I have learned a lot from working in the reseller channel for Autodesk and being a part of AUGI and look forward to helping others for a long time to come. Feel free to contact me for anything to do with Vault, Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical, I look forward to being of assistance and maybe we can become your “trusted advisor”. Is there someone that you know who deserves to be in the Volunteer Spotlight? If so, then drop me an email or PM and let me know! Please include their name/screen name and why you feel they deserve it. You never know, this could be you up here next month! ~Jennifer (CADKitty), Volunteering Manager |
