AUGI France Gets BIM Strategy

Le 5 Octobre dernier, Autodesk France organisait sa BIM conférence 2010. Lors de cet événement, les participants ont pu partager avec Nicolas Mangon – Directeur de l’industrie BIM chez Autodesk – la vision stratégique de l’éditeur. Durant la séance plénière, plusieurs clients, utilisateurs des solutions BIM d’Autodesk, ont témoigné de leur usage au sein de leurs organisations et des perspectives qu’elles leur offrent.
A l’occasion des ateliers dédiés aux différents domaines d’application du BIM, Autodesk à confié à AUGI France l’animation de celui consacré à Revit Architecture.
Fidèle à sa vocation de participation et de partage des utilisateurs, les thèmes ont été choisis à la suite d’un sondage effectué dans les forums français et l’atelier fût animé par deux membres actifs : Franck Bricaud ; modérateur et Yves Gravelin ; un des administrateurs de nos forums qui représentait l’organisation à cette occasion et qui a pu s’entretenir avec de nombreux membres de AUGI France.
AUGI France remercie Autodesk de lui avoir offert cette tribune, tous les participants à cet atelier pour leur assiduité et toutes et tous les membres actifs des forums d’être venus partager à l’occasion de cet événement.

On October 5, 2010, Autodesk France organized its 2010 BIM conference. At this event, attendees were able to share with Nicolas Mangon, Director of BIM Industry at Autodesk, the strategic vision of the publisher. During the plenary session, many clients, users of Autodesk BIM solutions, had the opportunity to demonstrate the use of BIM solutions within their organizations and share the opportunities provided.
Four workshops were dedicated to the different fields of BIM application. Autodesk asked AUGI France to lead the one that was devoted to Autodesk Revit Architecture software.
True to the calling for user participation and sharing, subjects were selected following a survey in the French AUGI Forums. The workshop was conducted by two active AUGI France members: Frank Bricaud, forum moderator, and Yves Gravelin, forum administrator. Gravelin represented the AUGI organization and was very happy to meet many members of AUGI France.
AUGI France wishes to thank Autodesk for giving them this opportunity to meet users. In addition, the organization extends its gratitude to all of the Revit Architecture workshop participants for their attendance and all active members of the forums for coming to share during this event.
