Autodesk University Wrap Up
The beer was ice cold and the Top DAUG contest was smokin' hot. And so ends another successful Autodesk University for AUGI and its members.
Some highlights:
The AUGI annual meeting, always held during AU, was a wonderful blend of old (where we've been) and new (where we're going). Nothing delivers a sense of community like looking back on our accomplishments and looking forward to our initiatives for the coming year. Well done, AUGI members!
The AUGI Beer Bash, held in the Exhibit Hall, followed the Annual Meeting. Good times!
Congratulations to Timothy Vaughan, this year's AUGI Top DAUG winner. Stephanie Ellis of HP presented Tim with an HP Mini Notebook computer. A free pass to AU 2010 completed his prize package. Our thanks to HP for sponsoring the AUGI Top DAUG Challenge. Read more about the contest on BLAUGI.
The final AUGI Wish Lists for four popular Autodesk products were presented to Autodesk during Autodesk University. Recently, AUGI members voted for their top 10 product improvement wishes for these products: AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit Architecture, and Autodesk Inventor. The results of this recent vote were combined with the top wishes from the other two voting cycles this year. In the end, Autodesk was given a nice long list of "stuff to work on" for upcoming releases.
