Homepage Poll: Which social media services do you use?
The November 2012 poll asked AUGI members which popular social media channels they use. Of the 298 responses, 13% use none of the listed options.
For those who do engage in social media activities, far and away, Facebook is the clear winner, with nearly 60% of members using it. LinkedIn, the professional networking site, is not far behind with 52% participation.
With Forums being the favorite feature of the AUGI site (according to the April 2012 poll), it's no suprise that forums are a favorite service for our members.
When asking what other services people use, there were some examples given, ranging from special interest sites for hobbies, to email (such as WAUN.org) and chat services, as well as more graphically sharing such as Instagram and Pinterest. I will admit that I am a user of Instagram and did not even think to include it in this list. Thank you for sharing your favorites!
There will not be a poll on the AUGI .com homepage in December 2012. Instead, watch this space for a recap of some the stats we have collected throughout the year.
