HP Showcases Power of Technology at Autodesk University
Thousands of Autodesk users converged on Autodesk University 2010 to learn, network, and celebrate the power of Autodesk technology. HP was a Platinum Sponsor of the event, which gave attendees the chance to learn first hand how HP technologies can help them gain an edge in designing.
Visitors to the HP booth were able to take a “technology tour” via demonstrations of some of HP’s desktop HP Z Workstations and HP EliteBook Mobile Workstations running Autodesk applications. In addition, attendees could try out the HP Designjet printers and HP ePrint & Share print collaboration solution, which was introduced at the event.
While designing products is no laughing matter, HP lightened the mood with a Laugh and Learn feature in its booth. HP jugglers entertained the audience with their skills while highlighting the features and functionality of HP technology.
HP products were also showcased around the exhibition hall. For example, in the Best in Class lounge, HP Z800 workstations and the new HP Designjet T2300 eMFP printer were in constant use.
Improving performance was on the top of mind for participants who attended one of three training sessions hosted by HP. These sessions offered tips and tricks for how to increase productivity using HP’s desktop and mobile workstations and large format printers.
Several lucky visitors to the HP booth walked away with HP desktop and mobile workstations, HP DesignJet printer, Nvidia graphics cards and an HP TouchSmart PC as part of a product giveaway contest. The top award winner was Steve Fong, who received the Top DAUG award for his superior AutoCAD knowledge and drawing skills.
