Having an add-on for your CAD/BIM software can make a big difference in productivity. Third-party software can range from large programs that practically manage your entire workflow to small applications that complete a single task. Either way they can be game changers for you.

If your product doesn’t fall in the Autodesk or Bricsys world, I would suggest a search on the Internet for your product name and “add-ins”. I found many independent developers (too many to list here) that have products available for SolidWorks, DraftSight, etc.
